Dr. Howard Gardner gave the concept of Multiple Intelligence theory. He has also written extensively on creativity, leadership and professional ethics. He received Nobel Prize for Multiple Intelligence in 1986 and lots of other awards.

Dr. Roger Sperry awarded Nobel Prize for balancing of Left Brian and Right Brain in 1981. The right brain concept was extensively understood by him. And he gave a model of Balanced Brain.

With the contribution of these two Scientist, Psychologist a well thought concept was advanced in continental and European countries under the name of DMIT project.

DMIT Means – Dermatoglyphics Multiple Intelligence Test

We take three impressions of each finger including thumbs through scanner. Total Thirty Impressions are taken. By these impressions a report is generated of thirty Six pages. Through this report we can know the followings:

1.     In Born talent of the student

2.     His/her best mode of learning

3.     His/her type of personality

4.     His/her intelligent quotient

The scientist established the truth that after sixth to Twenty first weeks in mother’s womb, the neurons of brain and finger prints develop simultaneously and showing particular trend.

Dr. Howard Gardner gave the following 8 type of intelligence:

1.     Verbal Linguistic (Word Smart)

2.     Logical/Mathematical (Number/Reasoning Smart )

3.     Visual/Spatial (Picture Smart)

4.     Naturalist (Nature Smart)

5.     Music/Rhythmic (Music Smart)

6.     Body/Kinesthetic (Body Smart)

7.     Interpersonal (People Smart)

8.     Intrapersonal (Self Smart)

Dr. Howard Gardner gave the concept of Four Quotients:

1.     Intelligence quotient (IQ)

·        Ability to reason and think

·        Predictor of academic performance

·        Ability to apply logic, language and grammar

·        High IQ doesn’t mean more intelligent/visa-versa

2.     Emotional quotient(EQ)

·        Ability to understand & manage self’s & other’s emotions

·        Connect with people & self

·        Emotion management, leadership skills

·        Directly proportional to your managerial skills

3.     Creative quotient (CQ)

·        Ability to understand music & art

·        Predictor of your creativity

·        Painting & dance abilities

·        Out of the box thinking

·        Doing something different better & new

4.     Adversity quotient (AQ)

·        Ability to handle tough situations’

·        Pain taking capacity

·        Tough mind set

·        Never give up attitude

·        Situation fighter

·        High energy level

Gardner has given  three modes of learning also:

1.   Visual learner – prefer to use graphics, pictures, flow charts, graphs etc.

2.   Auditory learner – prefer to use listening and discussion to learn

3.   Kinesthetic learner – prefer to use physical hands on and practical activities to learn.

Gardner  also given the following types of Personalities:

    Personality                                                Character

1.     Eagle                                                      Dominant

2.     Peacock                                                 Influential

3.     Owl                                                        Complaint

4.     Dove                                                      Steady

DMIT Report tells about below...

1.     Difference between Brains (Right & Left Brain)

2.     Domination of Brain (Right & Left Brain)

3.     Learning pattern according to Brain mapping

(1)Visual             (2) Auditory        (3) Kinesthetic

4.     Strength of 5 lobes

a) The Frontal Lobe    b)  The Prefrontal Lobe     c)     The Parietal Lobe      d)   The Temporal Lobe         e)The Occipital Lobe

5.     Personality & Behavior

a)   Dominant       b)    Influence        c)   Steady          d)    Complaint

6.     Thinking Style

a>    Cognitive     b>    Affective         c>    Reverse        d>    Reflective

7.     Strength and weakness

a)  Intra Personal            b)  Inter Personal           c)  Logical          d)  Fine motor skill         e)  Gross motor skill

f)   Language                  g)  Music                         h)  Nature           i)   Visual

8.     Types of Quotients

a).     Intelligence quotient (IQ)                                  b)     Emotional quotient(EQ)

c)      Creative quotient (CQ)                                      d)     Adversity quotient (AQ)
